Duplo DC-8/32 Suction-Fed Collator
The Duplo DC-8/32 is a suction-fed collator giving superior feeding. These high-productivity 8 station collators, deliver superior performance while maintaining complete accuracy. Each bin has two individual fans to deliver the correct amount of air/vacuum to suit different stocks. Adjustable air flow can also be correspondingly controlled on each bin. A large 210cm2 feeding head ensures consistent feeding of stocks from 50-300gsm, with little or no adjustments required. Fast and accurate double sheet and misfeed detection ensures only correct sets are delivered onto the conveyor allowing non-stop high productivity. The special block mode function allows for continuous, on-the-run reloading while other bins in the tower are feeding.
Downtime is dramatically reduced as doubles and misfeeds are diverted into the reject tray without interrupting production. A 60mm bin capacity means more print can be loaded into each bin, increasing machine running time between loading The towers can be connected to create up to 32 bin feeding system. A user friendly touch screen panel, controls all the main features, and displays at all times, the progress of each job, both in terms of speed and batch/total counting. Simple error messages inform the operator of a miss, or double fed sheet. These are recorded to give a true total count of each job.
Duplo DBM-120/120T Dynamic Bookletmaker and Trimmer
The Duplo DBM-120 is an automatic push button bookletmaker with a self-setting size mechanism. Simply make the selection on the control panel and the DBM-120 will do the rest. Ten standard sizes are pre-programmed and a further 3 memory settings are available for custom sizes. Operating speeds are up to 2,400 A5 books/hr. Heavy duty staple head with a 5000 staple capacity producing a flat staple finish. Out of staple sensors stop the machine when the cartridge is empty, ensuring only completed books are produced. A fully automatic detection system eliminates wastage by ensuring incomplete sets are simply diverted into the reject tray. Furthermore faulty sets can then be simply corrected and fed into the DBM-120. The DBM-120T fore-edge trimmer provides the finishing touch for a professional look, by ensuring each booklet is trimmed to the exact size.
