Ideal 4860 Guillotine
Touchpad
The Ideal 4860 Guillotine is extremely convenient and easy-to-use: Electronic control module for the power backgauge with multilingual touch pad. In total, 99 steps can be added to a program, and 99 programs can be stored simultaneously. Also useful: the pre-programmed DIN sizes and the automatic memory for repeat cuts.
IR Light Beam
On the front table, an IR light beam safety curtain ensures efficient and safe cutting and trimming. Additional safety is provided by the transparent safety cover on the rear table.
Blade Activating Bars
The Ideal 4860 Guillotine Blade and clamp can be activated independently. By using the two-step blade activating bars with separate trigger points for blade and clamp. The electronically controlled true two-hand operation provides maximum operator safety.
Optical Cutting Line
A optical cutting line with bright, durable LEDs shows where the blade will cut. Thus helping to align cutting marks precisely for accurate cuts.
Electronic Hand Wheel
Electronic hand wheel for manual backgauge positioning with infinitely variable speed control (from very slow to very fast).
Hook-in Tool Holder
Located on the back table, the hook-in tool holder holds all the tools needed for blade change and service.
Safety-Cutting System
In addition to the light beam safety curtain on the front table, our SCS safety package comprises the following features: safety cover on the rear table / lockable main switch with key / two-hand safety activation with repetition blocking and control for synchronous operation / automatic blade and clamp return from every position / disc brake for instant blade stop / blade changing device with covered cutting edge / easy blade depth adjustment from the outside on the machine / easy blade change from the front of the machine without removing covers.
