Foilers & Coaters

Foilers & Coaters machines. The Fusion is a specific and unique coating and digital foiling system. It incorporates a dry coating process, requiring no chemicals or toners. To achieve a high gloss, spot or matt coat finish. The process is environmentally clean and produces no plastic waste, unlike lamination. The foiling process involves foil transfer to digitally printed images. These are burnished to produce a non scratch, high quality finish.

Full Coating With Thermal Transfer. The printed sheets are coated with gloss, satin or matt molecules to the entire surface. Using a burnishing process to produce a high quality finish. The finished appearance is similar to lamination but achieved without the involvement of plastic.

Spot Coating With Melting Toner. This unique method uses a high parallelism film to apply molecules of glazing material to the digitally printed image. The machine then burnishes these to produce a spot coat finish.

Gold Sliver and Colour Foiling. The machine can add foils to images printed in carbon toner. These sheets can be sealed and over printed to produce layered foiled sheets, without the need to seal the layers with laminate. Again removing the need to use plastic in another printing process.
